EPCOR BV Celebrates 25 Years of Excellence and Innovation
Paris, Schiphol-Rijk – The Netherlands, 8th of April 2025 –– EPCOR B.V., the Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) center of excellence for the repair of Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), Components, asset management services and predictive maintenance solutions, proudly celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Over the past quarter-century, EPCOR has established itself as a trusted partner within the MRO industry, known for its commitment to service, quality, safety, and innovation.
Founded in 2000 as a joint venture between Hamilton Sundstrand and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, EPCOR began as a specialized provider of pneumatic component services. In 2005 EPCOR became a 100% subsidiary of KLM and part of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance. In 2006 it was decided to add APU services to the service portfolio, and this resulted in a tremendous growth of the company. Through strategic investments, technological advancements, and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction, EPCOR has expanded its capabilities and service offerings for Airbus A220, A320, A330 and A350 aircraft as well as for Boeing 737, 777, 787 and Embraer E1/E2 aircraft. Today, EPCOR operates a state-of-the-art facility at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and serves a diverse clientele that includes some of the world’s leading airlines, aircraft operators as well as various Lessors, brokers and MRO’s.
Pioneering Excellence in Global MRO Services
Throughout its history, EPCOR has achieved numerous milestones. The company was among the first to receive certification for APU MRO services from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). It has since received approvals from all major regulatory bodies worldwide, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). EPCOR’s innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives have earned it multiple industry accolades, strengthening its reputation as a leading expert in the worldwide MRO industry.
