A graduate of ESCP Europe and CPA, Séverine Guffroy began her professional career in 1992 in an independent audit firm and joined PWC in 1995, where she specialised in establishing the consolidated financial statements of large French and American industrial groups. In 2000, she joined the Sanofi group as Head of Consolidation, where she contributed to the group’s successful entry onto the US stock exchange. Séverine Guffroy joined Air France-KLM in 2005, as deputy director and then director of Accounting Operations in 2013, during which time she bolstered the accounting teams and implemented a changeover in accounting procedures in order to bring them into line with international standards. During this period she also familiarised herself with the complex financial operations required for airline maintenance activities. Confirming her commitment to tackling industrial strategy issues over the long term, she became Vice President for Finance and Control at AFI KLM E&M in 2018.
