The choice of the investment on such hi-techno associated with the experience and know-how of our team make us a key actor on combustion chamber repair. As a result, today we are the only shop worldwide (except for the OEM) to propose the multi hole repair on GE90 engine, and the 1st one to have developed the techno on CFM56 tech-insertion combustor. And thanks to the learning curve we acquired in terms of experience we have reached the step of the perfect mastery of this techno. Anticipating the future, it has now been a while that we are working on the engineering of the next techno on holes repair i.e THE SHAPED HOLES
From multi holes to shaped hole technology
We have invested recently in a 2nd laser drilling machine. In addition to the cutting and drilling functionalities they have in common, the new one can also weld parts. Such hi-technology investments allow us to constantly adapt to new and next gen engine type technologies. Indeed, needless to add that the complexity of the use of a laser techno is “not a simple matter” Caroline Guinard (Repair Development Engineer, Phd Material), explains :
