All Turbine Temperature test sets offered by Barfield meet the requirements for testing aircraft Type K (Chromel - Alumel) thermocouple systems and are capable of conducting the following tests:

Aircraft EGT systems employ 4-16 Type K thermocouples in parallel. These generate small voltages (40uV/degree) as exhaust temperatures rise, requiring precise testing equipment for accurate readings.
